The latest BlackBerry KEY2 update has started to roll out across several regions, and one of the changes added, aside from the security updates, comes by way of the icons. The circular app icons are now gone and have been switched out for square ones. If you're not feeling the new look, you can switch to an icon pack you prefer more. Here's how!
- Press and hold on a blank spot on your home screen
- Tap on Icon Packs
- You'll see all the pre-loaded icon packs. In the top right, tap on the Google Play Store icon
- You'll be taken to the Google Play Store where you can pick a new icon pack
The Google Play Store offers both free and paid icon packs, and there's plenty to choose from. You just have to pick one you prefer and get it downloaded and installed. I do have to note, however, that not all icon packs will work as some have been designed to work specifically with certain launchers. Be sure to read the descriptions or look for free 'test' packs to try out.
