I love writing this theme roundup every week, as it gives me the chance to see so many great themes and bring the best of the best to our readers. The themes we have this week are entirely my own picks, the tip line has been very quiet lately. Remember to represent your favorite themes and devs by sending an email to [email protected]. The buzz this week has been all about the World Cup, with fans from around the world getting excited about all the action. Fans of minimal themes will love this one, with the ability to clear everything from the homescreen for the most wallpaper-friendly view possible. Zen-style mini icons are set into a 8-icon hidden dock, and 5 entry hidden today adds to the homescreen functionality. When the dock is hidden, the owner's name can be displayed on the homescreen, which is a nice touch for those running OS versions that don't allow the lockscreen to be displayed. One very cool feature about thistheme is the ability to selectively hide the hidden today, or all components of the homescreen via hotkeys. I came across this theme the other day and fell in love with the look of it right away. The brushed metal background goes perfectly with the look of the docks, making for a visually stunning homescreen. A uniquely shaped 6 icon (user-defined) static dock resides at the top of the homescreen, and a 4 icon hidden dock brings the applications available up to an even 10. The theme also includes a hidden today and hidden hotspots for even more function, honestly making me miss my Storm.
