No real words are needed here. If you want to help out with the terrible situation in Haiti, download the Help Haiti App and make a donation. The app makes it quick and easy to donate to the following charities:

acceleGraph

New from the developers at Phrehnck, acceleGraph is a free and simple app that lets you, well... it lets you graph accelerometer readings on your BlackBerry! Of course, this one is only compatible with the Storm and Storm2... So if you're packing one of these touchscreen beauties and have the urge to chart accelerometer data (haven't figured out a practical use for this yet... well, for me anyway)... then go ahead and give it a download.

In Case You Missed It...

Just in case you missed these titles, below are some apps that were covered in the CrackBerry Blogs this past week. Check 'em out!

TripIt for BlackBerry

If you've used TripIt before, you may want to try out the new and very free TripIt BlackBerry app. With it you can make adjustments to your travel calendar, flight status, check out hotel info, pull up maps and directions, and a lot more. To use this one you'll need to register with TripIt... But that's no problem. Once registered you can keep and manage 'master travel itineraries' for quick and easy reference when on-the-go.

A free trial is available for 30 days, but if you want all of the bells and whistles you'll need to throw down $69 per year for TripIt Pro. A bit of a bummer, but if you travel a lot and you like the service, well worth it.

Foursquare for BlackBerry

I have to admit... I forced myself to use Foursquare for a little while... and in all honesty... I don't understand the buzz around it... But that hasn't stopped it from growing in leaps and bounds, case in point the new Beta Foursquare app for BlackBerry that was recently released. For the moment Foursquare for BlackBerry is only available on the 8000 and 9000 series, but still, me thinks that covers 90% of you wanting to check out Foursquare, no?

For all the details or to install, give Foursquare a visit. Remember, ths app is still in beta, so be sure to let the developers know if you pick up any bugs or issues that need to be addressed. Now get out there and earn your badges!

Tvider Twitter Client

New to the Twitter Client scene is Tvider. With Tvider you'll find things you may not expect in a typical Twitter app. It's geared towards helping you get pictures, audio and video from your device or desktop into your Twitter feed. Key features include:

• Support for 3 types of media – Video, Audio, Pictures.
• Tools to instantly generate media using webcam and mobile camera.
• Option to publish a pre-recorded media tweet from your HDD or mobile SD Card memory.
• Instant Micro Media Tweeting experience designed by limiting the media length to 60s in case of video and audio.

Rogers Sportsnet Launches Free BlackBerry App

My favorite sports news and scores app is still Score Mobile (awesome)... But a new entry has made its way onto the scene from Rogers Sportsnet. The new Sportsnet Mobile App for BlackBerry brings everything you'd expect... Up to the second scores, news and more for the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB and more. This one is available for Rogers and Fido customers only, and you can pick it up via App World right here.

Note: Sportsnet Mobile has launched for iPhone and Android devices as well. Giddy'up!

New This Week

Connect 4 Fun

Yay! Who doesn't enjoy a good game of Connect 4!? I know I love it! From TEW Simple, Connect 4 Fun brings the classic game to the comfort and ease of your BlackBerry device. Play against the AI at two difficulty levels, plus, you can also play a one player game (suppose you could use this with a friend, make your move, pass your device...). You'll need at least OS 4.5 to run this one, and to purchase you'll need to throw down $2.99.

Astraware Casino Card Games

For those that love you some casino action, Astraware has released a new game with gambling in mind. Titled 'Astraware Casino Card Games', this app delivers Hold 'em, Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, Limit Hold'em and Baccarat to your BlackBerry. Instructions of each game are included, and higher stakes games are unlocked as you progress in the game. There's also a 'virtual bank' that allows you to store your cash, or withdraw more coin if your funds are getting a little low.

Masterpiece Theme

Had to throw this theme into the mix this week. The Masterpiece Theme from BT Design is based on their SEIKO Clock Theme, and packs a lot of features. Besides the obvious look and feel of a watch, you'll get custom notification icons, custom app icons, animations, and a lot more. This theme is on sale for $5.99 until January 31st, and is available for most current BlackBerry devices.]

Nursing Calculator

For those of you that are in the nursing field, the brand new 'Nursing Calculator' may be of assistance to you. 21 commonly used nursing calculators are found within... use it to calculate things like BMI, IV Dosages, Lean Body Weight, O2 Tank Remaining Time, Allowable Blood Loss, and a lot more. Two versions of this app are available, one for non-touch devices and another for the touchscreen Storm.

InstantLog Updated

The good folks at Twinkler Software have updated one of their newest titles, InstantLog. Apparently the app has been completely rewritten/overhauled to increase reliability and provide a bunch of new features. If you haven't heard of InstantLog before, it runs silently in the background while logging information of your choice. Log incoming email and/or SMS messages to your calendar... Or you can backup to IMAP email accounts. You can also record all incoming, outgoing and missed calls to your calendar or IMAP email. The list of features goes on...

TheStreet Mobile

Released earlier this month, the folks at TheStreet.com have put together a brand new app for your BlackBerry. Compatible with all current BlackBerry devices, TheStreet Mobile app brings money and market analysis to the fore. If you need instant investing news, analysis, insight and more, this one is worth a look. Inside you'll find the 'my stocks' feature which lets you create and edit your portfolio online with the latest stock info and quotes. Plus, yes, of course, you'll get the occasional smattering of commentary from the one and only Jim Cramer. Mad money!
